Description
Has your soldering iron tip seen better days? Would you like to restore the tip to its former glory, without having to buy a brand new tip? You might find that your tip forms an oxidation layer rather quickly, especially at higher temperatures (quite often when using lead-free solder), so buying new tips just isn't an economical approach.
When the tip surface is oxidized, it becomes dark and does not 'wet' properly anymore. By using this product, you'll remove the oxidation layer that's insulating your tip from the solder. Is uses a strong acid, which removed the oxidation without harming the original tip surface
How to use:
- The proper temperature of the soldering tip is from 300 ° C - 360 ° C. (572°F - 680°F).
- Clean solder tip with a sponge.
- Put the tip into the Tip Refresher and wait a few minutes.
- If the tip is still not wetting properly, repeat step 2. and step 3. several times.
Notice:
If the abrasive remains on the soldering tip when soldering, the abrasive will be attached to the printed circuit board, it is possible to produce erosion and damage to the circuit board, please remove completely the abrasive from soldering tip after soldering tip regeneration.
